Design Tip - Cool Site -
Window Treatments M’Fay
Patterns is a fabulous window treatment site. If you are looking for patterns to make
your own treatments, or just ideas, visit this site. Designs are illustrated by line
drawings and with color photographs. Sites features include window treatment and pillow
patterns, stores and distributors (by state), workroom aids and workroom manuals.
Don’t let the term workroom discourage you. Their "So Beautiful, Sew Easy"
patterns are designed for the less experienced seamstress. Patterns marked "Easy to
Make!" are not only easy, but also quick. M’Fay offers secure online ordering
and a shopping cart system. I first learned about M’Fay when I received their catalog
in the mail. If you do not have a store location near you, call them to see if you can
order one.
*Note: (1) M’Fay has a "Cresendo" MIDI software attached to their home
page. If you do not want the software, "just say no." Whether you download the
software, or not, music automatically plays once you open the page. You can turn the music
off at the bottom. (2) I am not affiliated with M’Fay. So, do not be concerned about
using my links to make purchases from them.
Window Treatments are also the focus on the CatherineMcGivern.com
home
page this week. Highlighted is a Window Treatment Book called: Windows with
Style
Book Description: This book received five stars, out of five, from Amazon.com. Here
are a reader's comments on the book, "This book is excellent for those of you who are
looking for a very stylish window treatments that are easy to do. Some of them require

Have fun surfing!
